New Home Construction Energy Auditing
Senior staff at Tacoma Energy have been working in the new construction industry for more than 30 years. We have experience in Energy Efficient Mortgages, The HERS Index, 45L Home Builder Tax Credit, Blower Door, Duct Blaster and Infrared use. Our use of proprietary software gives us the performance we need to get our clients the HERS Index score they desire at the most cost effective Energy Efficient way possible. Our clients average HERS Index is in the low to mid 50's. On average we can lower a clients HERS score with little to no cost. Our software also provides our clients state of the art process to find every part used in there construction of new homes to achieve the 45L Home Builder Tax Credit. With our process many of our clients receive 90% of the Tax Credits they deserve when building above federal energy efficient standards.
Energy Rebate Financing
Many energy saving repairs can be financed by rebates from the local utility company or the government. The problem with those rebates is that the contractors who perform the repairs often times are required to pass the savings along to the homeowner and then wait months for reimbursement from the government.
Our Dealers can offer select contractors the ability to sell the rebates owed to them, giving them immediate money and much more stable cash flow. This gives us a true differentiator when working with local contractors.
Outsourced Reporting
We all want to make money. And how much money we make is always correlated to how much time it takes us to give the client what they expect. At Tacoma, our dealers are able to outsource their reporting to our staff at Tacoma's corporate office for far less $$$ than it would cost them to do it themselves. In fact, on average, by outsourcing the reporting, our dealers in many instances can save enough time to do 2 to 3 times the number of audits in the same amount time it takes other auditors to do one complete audit with the audit report.
